Pamela M Hinton, 68, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Sentara RMH Medical Center, in Harrisonburg, Va..

Ms. Hinton was born on August 23, 1955, in Cobb County, GA, and was a daughter of the late John Curtis and Lois Faye (Townsend) Mitchell.

She worked for many years in the banking industry as a loan officer prior to her retirement. Pamela enjoyed spending time with her family most, and breeding/showing her beloved bulldogs. She was a very active member of the Brevard Kennel Club, Space Coast Kennel Club and was the President of the Central Florida Kennel Club. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Pamela is survived by her children, Melanie Daugherty and significant other, David Prefontain of Cocoa Beach FL, Mandi Hunter of Rockledge, FL, Cassie Wine and husband G.C. of Cocoa, FL, and Thomas Hinton of Cocoa, FL; eight grandchildren, Amanda Davis, James Ray, Collin Ramsey, Kale McFall, Hunter Trull, Piper Hinton, Cailin Hinton, and Harper Hinton; four great-grandchildren; life-long best friend, Cynthia McGee, and a close family friend, Bruce Wicks.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Hinton was preceded in death by her husband Tom Hinton, and a brother, Donald Mitchell.

Services will be held at a later date.
